শিবু কুমার শীল একাধারে সঙ্গীত শিল্পী, নির্মাতা, প্রচ্ছদ শিল্পী ও কবি। বাংলাদেশ তথা বাংলা ভাষাভাষীদের কাছে এক বিশেষ নাম। শব্দায়ন এ স্ট্যান্ডআপ পোয়েট্রি প্ল্যাটফর্মের আইডিয়া থেকে এক্সিকিউশনে অন্যতম সহযাত্রী। নিজের লেখা কবিতার পাশাপাশি তিনি পাঠ করেছেন জার্মান নাট্যকার ও কবি বার্টল্ড ব্রেখট এর কবিতা।

Shibu Kumer Shill is at once a musician, music producer, artist, and poet a distinctive name to audiences in Bangladesh and the wider Bengali-speaking world. From the very conception to the execution of Shabdayan, the stand-up poetry platform, he has been one of its closest collaborators. Alongside his own verses, he also recited poems by the German playwright and poet Bertolt Brecht.

Shabdayan- A Stand-Up Poetry Platform
Aims to create a space where contemporary art, storytelling, and spoken word intersect, uplifting the voices of popular, emerging and underrepresented poets, artists. It features performances combining spoken word poetry, dance, and music in various languages. This is an initiative by Atopor Shabdayan in partnership with Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, empowered by UCSI University Bangladesh Branch Campus, and supported by Mattra.
